The surplus of the republican budget amounted to 30,646.6 billion soms for the first half of 2024. For the first half of 2023, it was only 2,281.8 billion soms, the report of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic says.
According to its data, budget revenues for the first half of the year amounted to 201,028 billion soms (15.8 percent higher than the plan), expenses — 170,381.8 billion soms.
Compared to the same period in 2023, revenues increased by 25.2 percent — 40,411.7 billion soms.
Tax revenues in the first half of 2024 reached 144,152.1 billion soms, which is 21.8 percent more than in the same period of 2023. The tax revenue plan was overfulfilled by 1,944.6 billion soms.
