Trade turnover between Bashkortostan and Kyrgyzstan increased by 41.1 percent. The government of Bashkortostan reports.
It is noted that the indicator was achieved based on the results of four months of this year.
According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities Margarita Bolycheva, «in the first four months of this year, an increase in mutual trade with Kyrgyzstan was achieved by 41.1 percent.»
Mineral products, metals and products made from them, chemical industry products, rubber, wood, pulp and paper products, and so on are exported from Bashkortostan to Kyrgyzstan, which contributes to the implementation of the goals of the national project «International Cooperation and Export.»
At year-end 2023, the Kyrgyz Republic took eighth place in the total volume of trade turnover in the region, rising in the ranking of Bashkortostan counterparties by six positions.
