A cold snap is expected in Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to it, unstable weather is expected across the republic from May 24 to May 26. Occasional rain, thunderstorms, snow is possible in high mountain areas, and heavy precipitations are expected in some places.
The air temperature is expected to drop during the day on May 26 and at night on May 27. Western wind speed may reach 4-9 meters per second, in some places with strengthening up to 17-22 meters per second.
At night and in the morning of May 27, frosts are expected in some places in the agricultural zone of Naryn region and in the east of Issyk-Kul region to −2 degrees Celsius.
«Such unstable weather will complicate the work of vehicles, communication enterprises, energy and utility services, grazing and keeping livestock on pastures,» the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Frosts are also dangerous for blossoming buds, flowers and fruit crops, flowering fruit bushes and berry crops.
