Emergencies Ministry employees rescue Russian climber in mountains

Employees of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Kyrgyzstan rescued a Russian climber using a helicopter. The press service of the ministry reported.

On January 12, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message from one of the travel companies that an urgent evacuation of the Russian climber E. Efremova from Ratsek Peak was needed. She suffered a leg injury in Ak-Sai gorge.

The helicopter of the aviation search and rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took off to the site at 1.30 p.m. and, despite the bad weather, landed at an altitude of 3,800 meters above sea level in strong wind. The climber was evacuated and handed over to doctors.

The woman is under the supervision of doctors. Her condition is satisfactory.
