Turusbekov and Umetaliev streets will become one-way from January 6 in Bishkek. The press service of the Bishkek City Hall confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
One-way traffic will be organized:
- On the section of Turusbekov Street from Moskovskaya Street to Zhibek Zholu Avenue (from south to north);
- On the section of Umetaliev Street from Zhibek Zholu Avenue to Moskovskaya Street (from north to south).
Sections of Gogol Street from Zhumabek Street to Moskovskaya Street (from north to south) and Suyumbayev from Moskovskaya Street to Zhibek Zholu Avenue (from south to north) became one-way from December 27, 2023.
Earlier it was reported that sections of eight streets will become one-way in the capital, and on two, on the contrary, two-way traffic will be made. All work is planned to be completed by January 14.
