At least 30 road accidents involving scooters were registered in the capital in two months. The press service of the Department of the Patrol Police Service reported.
According to it, 34 people were injured in the road accidents. These figures raise serious concerns and require urgent preventative measures, the department believes.
It was reported that Bishkek will host a forum on road accidents involving scooter and moped riders.
The event will address current road safety issues, compliance with traffic regulations by scooter and moped riders, and ways to reduce the number of road accidents involving them.
Representatives of Yandex, Glovo, and Namba Food, as well as law enforcement and relevant services, will participate in the forum, where they will jointly discuss effective measures to ensure road safety.
