Changes have been made to the rules for driving on the dedicated (yellow) lane for public transport. Director of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure Ulan Uezbaev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, a joint order was signed with the Main Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the possibility of travel on the special dedicated lane for public transport at certain hours for other road users:
- In winter from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.;
- At other times from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
«This decision was made taking into account the need to optimize traffic flow, ensure more efficient traffic and reduce travel times for all road users,» he said.
