Finland has been ranked as the world’s happiest country for the eighth successive year.
According to the results of a joint study by the Wellbeing Research Centre at Oxford University and the Gallup Institute, the top three happiest countries are Finland (it has led the ranking since 2018), Denmark, and Iceland.
Russia rose from 72nd place to the 66th. Germany, Great Britain, and the United States are in 22nd, 23rd, and 24th places, respectively, while Ukraine is in 111th place in the ranking.
Kyrgyzstan is in 75th place. Uzbekistan takes 53rd place. Kazakhstan is in 43rd place, and Tajikistan — in the 90th place.
The Kyrgyz Republic was in 64th place in 2022.
For the USA, this year’s result was the worst in the history of the study, that is, since 2012.
Afghanistan was recognized as the unhappiest country.
