Tolls at Sosnovka and Kara-Kul checkpoints on Bishkek — Osh highway will be charged at new amended tariffs from January 1, 2024. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Tariffs were set in the following amounts:
- Vehicles used for transporting passengers and having, in addition to the driver’s seat, not more than eight seats — passenger vehicles: domestic — 50 soms, foreign — 200 soms;
- Vehicles used for the transportation of passengers and having, in addition to the driver’s seat, more than eight seats and a technically permissible maximum weight of not more than five tons: domestic — 100 soms, foreign — 1,000 soms;
- Vehicles intended for transportation of goods weighing not more than 3.5 tons, wheeled tractors: domestic — 100 soms, foreign — 1,000 soms;
- Vehicles used to transport passengers and having more than eight seats and a technically permissible maximum weight of more than five tons: domestic — 150 soms, foreign — 1,500 soms;
- Vehicles intended for the transportation of goods and weighing more than 3.5 tons, but not more than 12 tons: domestic — 150 soms, foreign — 1,500 soms;
- Vehicles intended for the transportation of goods weighing more than 12 tons: domestic — 250 soms, foreign — 3,000 soms;
- Vehicles intended for transportation of goods weighing more than 12 tons, and trailers weighing from 3.5 to 10 tons: domestic — 300 soms, foreign — 5,000 soms;
- Extra-wide tractors with a maximum design speed of not more than 40 kilometers per hour (combine harvesters): domestic — 300 soms, foreign — 5,000 soms;
- Vehicles intended for transporting cargo weighing more than 12 tons, and trailers weighing more than 10 tons: domestic — 300 soms, foreign — 5,000 soms.
