The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree, according to which Taalatbek Masadykov was appointed to the quota position of Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) from January 1, 2024.
He has been relieved of his previously held position as Special Representative of the President for Special Assignments.
Sadyr Japarov met with Taalatbek Masadykov on Friday. During the meeting, a number of issues on priority areas of work of the CSTO were discussed.
