Almost 800,000 drivers have violated traffic rules in 2023. Such data were announced at the final meeting of the State Traffic Safety Department for nine months.
According to the department, 746,673 drivers who violated traffic rules were detected. The state budget received 396,092,240 soms.
- At least 8,682 drivers drove while intoxicated;
- Some 125,422 exceeded the speed limit;
- About 2,409 illegally tinted the side and front windows of the car;
- At least 7,828 drove a car without the appropriate documents;
- Some 282 were fined for auto hooliganism;
- About 178,146 were administratively punished for not using a seat belt.
At least 420,582 violations of other traffic rules were registered.
