The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan conducted 47 internal investigations for nine months of 2023. The minister Nuriya Kutnaeva announced at a meeting of the Committee on Law, Order, Combating Crime and Corruption of the Parliament.
According to her, as a result, two materials were transferred to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment.
«At least 33 employees were warned, 19 were reprimanded, and four more were fired. They wrote a counter statement based on two materials,» the minister said.
Nuriya Kutnaeva noted that as of October 1 the Registration Department at the ministry conducted 207 internal investigations.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development presented a report on the fight against corruption at the ministry.
