The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan named the most popular professions among young Kyrgyzstanis. The data are provided in the report «Education and Science in the Kyrgyz Republic».
According to the chosen educational profile, the most popular among young people are the professions of economist, foreign language translator, doctor, lawyer, power engineer, programmer, builder and manager.
In recent years, the number of people choosing the specialty «pedagogy» (1.9 times), health care and technical sciences (1.5 times) has increased significantly.
At the same time, the number of students studying natural sciences (by 29 percent), management (by 23 percent) and law (by 4 percent) decreased.
