A congestion of trucks is registered at Ak-Tilek, Ken-Bulun and Chaldovar checkpoints. Deputy Chairman of the Association of International Cargo Carriers of Kyrgyzstan told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, only one vehicle is passed through Ak-Tilek checkpoint per hour, although its throughput is 20 vehicles per hour. More than 350 cars have already accumulated in front of the checkpoint.
«The same situation is observed at other checkpoints. The Kazakh side does not explain the reasons for the delay in any way. I am now at Ak-Tilek checkpoint together with Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Nazarbek Malayev. We are trying to find out the reason. I believe that the Kazakh side violates the principle of the Eurasian Economic Union on the free movement of goods by such actions. In addition, they undermine the authority of the EAEU,» Igor Golubev said.
