Meeting of the Interstate Council on Combating Corruption of the Commonwealth of Independent States member states took place in Yekaterinburg under the chairmanship of the Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Kurmankul Zulushev. Press service of the supervisory body reported.
Kurmankul Zulushev made a report on the anti-corruption activities of the State Prosecutor’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic this year.
«In addition, participants of the meeting discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the members of the Council in the field of combating corruption. As part of the visit, Kurmankul Zulushev had a bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart Igor Krasnov. They discussed strengthening of interdepartmental interaction and cooperation, continuing the exchange of experience and improving the skills of prosecutors in various areas. The main issue of discussion was the transfer of convicted citizens of Kyrgyzstan to their homeland for further serving their sentences,» the Prosecutor General’s Office informed.
