The State Property Management Agency of Kyrgyzstan invites to participate in an electronic auction for the sale of 100 percent of the state-owned stake in Alfa Telecom CJSC. Press service of the agency reported.
The announcement says that the state owns 8.7 million shares of the company. It provides cellular mobile radiotelephone communications and data transmission services in 2G, 3G and 4G standards, and also provides services for the design, construction, installation of telecommunication networks, systems and devices, as well as services of a fiscal data operator. It is a national operator for marking, and providing mobile financial services (MegaPay trade mark). The customer base is 2.548 million people.
The starting cost of the state-owned stake in Alfa Telecom CJSC is 14,600 billion soms ($167.2 million at the official exchange rate as of July 4, 2023).
The step of the electronic auction is 200 million soms.
The auction will take place on October 2, 2023. Applications for participation in it are accepted from July 4 until 10 a.m. on October 2, 2023.
To participate in the auction, it is necessary to register on the electronic trading platform portal, fill out an electronic application, attach the necessary documents and pay a guarantee fee of 10 percent of the starting price of the specified object (1,460 billion soms).
