Police officers liquidated an illegal plant for the production of alcohol in Tokmak city. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.
"The police department of Tokmak received information about illegal production of alcohol-containing drinks in one of the houses. Investigators found out two addresses of alleged illegal production. During a search in the house of a 62-year-old suspect, they found equipment for making alcohol, 230 liters of moonshine in plastic bottles, as well as a stamp of an LLC. In addition, a smooth-bore gun, a gas-traumatic pistol, a stun grenade and cartridges were found and seized.
The suspect told that for seven years he had been manufacturing and assembling equipment from various parts for the production of moonshine. He found the recipe on the Internet. The resulting products were sold at a price of 600 soms per liter.
Expert examinations have been scheduled. The investigation is ongoing.
