A decrease in prices for certain types of products has been registered in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of the year. The Antimonopoly Regulation Service reported.
Vegetable oil fell in price by 14.1 percent, flour of the first grade — by 8.8 percent and sugar — by 4.3 percent. In addition, prices for AI 92 gasoline fell by 8 percent and for diesel — by 2.9 percent.
«Prices have fallen due to the measures taken by the Cabinet of Ministers to zero VAT on certain goods. In addition, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service and enterprises of the flour milling industry. It was signed to ensure the food security of the republic and provide the market with high-quality wheat flour and feed for livestock at affordable prices,» the agency said.
