Kyrgyzstanis to have three days off this week

Kyrgyzstanis will have three days off this week. The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration informed 24.kg news agency.

April 7 is the Day of the People’s April Revolution. It is a non-working holiday. Thus, Kyrgyzstanis working according a five-day work week schedule will not work from April 7 to April 9.

In addition, Orozo Ait will be celebrated in April. However, the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan has not yet determined the exact date. The holiday may fall on April 21 (Friday) or April 22 (Saturday). In this case, there will also be three days off in a row: either on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Earlier the ministry prepared a bill, according to which some holidays will become working days, including April 7, but the document has not yet been adopted.
