Two boiler houses in Bishkek will be converted to gas for 53 million soms. The public procurement portal says.
According to it, the tenders were announced by the Capital Construction Department of the Bishkek City Hall. It plans to spend 27,911,142 soms on the reconstruction of the existing boiler house through redevelopment and installation of gas boilers at secondary school No. 49, and 25,552,809 soms on the transfer of a coal-fired boiler house at the secondary school No. 59 to gas heating.
Earlier, Bishkekteploset reported that they had 74 boiler houses on their balance sheet, 22 of which were coal-fired. The mayor of the capital, Emilbek Abdykadyrov, promised that by the end of the year all coal-fired boiler houses would be converted to gas.
