Russia allocates 700 quotas at universities for Kyrgyzstanis

The Russian government has allocated 30,000 places in the country’s universities for residents of foreign countries this year. The head of Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan, Albert Zulkharneyev, told at a press conference.

Including 700 quotas were provided for Kyrgyzstanis. Applications are being accepted until March 20. In addition, 70 places are allocated for medical specialties, 50 — for pedagogical specialties, 20 — for Russian language specialists, and 39 — for financial intelligence specialists.

«At least 35 places were provided for education at universities and institutes under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in creative specialties. Additionally, 18 more places were allocated at the Russian Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS). The quota provides not only free education in Russian universities, but also a place in a hostel,» Albert Zulkharneyev.
