A man set himself on fire near the building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) in Bishkek. Readers told 24.kg news agency.
According to them, it happened today at about 4 p.m.
«We witnessed how a man set himself on fire at the intersection of Kievskaya and Shopokova streets near the KRSU. Passers-by say it was a self-immolation attempt. A fire extinguisher from the university was used to extinguish the fire. An ambulance was called, the medical workers began to provide medical assistance to the man,» eyewitnesses said.
