Members of the temporary deputy commission and the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov visited Kumtor mine. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
They got acquainted with the state of the main pit, Petrov Lake, tailings, and also visited the gold processing plant. The MPs were told about the work carried out at the enterprise, the security and control system, which monitors the situation in production in real time and excludes the possibility of theft from the technological chain of gold production and unauthorized transportation of the precious metal outside the mine.
«Every gram of gold is under control,» the company’s management emphasized.
In 2022, the gold processing plant produced 17.3 tons of gold. The plan for the production of gold for 2023 is 14 tons.
