Cost of medical services at outpatient level to rise from January 1

From January 1, a new price list for medical services in Family Medicine Centers (FMC), General Medical Practice Centers, outpatient diagnostic departments of general hospitals, as well as in clinical diagnostic departments of tertiary hospitals comes into force. Press service of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (CMIF) reports.

According to it, the price list was last revised in 2015.

«Calculation of the cost of medical services was carried out taking into account inflation, rising prices for reagents, consumables for laboratory research and medical equipment. When compiling the price list, methods for conducting laboratory diagnostic studies (general clinical, bacteriological, biochemical, immunological, immunoenzymatic) and radiographic, radiological studies (manual, digital, analog) were taken into account,» the fund noted.

The revised price list includes 740 types of examinations, tests and manipulations (previously there were 410 of them).

The CMIF added that the price list was agreed and approved by order of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

Citizens assigned to the FMC, insured persons and the privileged category of the population specified in the State Guarantee Program do not pay for laboratory and diagnostic services according to the price list.

The rest of the citizens pay for the rendered medical services to the cash desk. You can get insured by purchasing a Compulsory Medical Insurance Certificate at the FMC or at the Territorial Departments of the CMIF.

All questions can be addressed to the CMIF hotline at 113.
