A working group has been created in Kyrgyzstan to prevent incidents related to violations in the field of personal data. The State Agency for Protection of Personal Data of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The state agency hosted the first coordination meeting of the interdepartmental working group on preventing and responding to incidents related to violations in the financial sector.
It was attended by employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the State Committee for National Security, the National Bank, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Service for Regulation and Supervision over the Financial Market, the State Financial Intelligence Service and the Service for Regulation and Supervision in the Communications Industry.
They discussed the problems associated with cyber fraud on popular marketplaces and in mobile applications, as well as joint actions to identify and eliminate cyber incidents as soon as possible.
