Entrepreneurs must use electronic consignment notes from 2023

Business entities engaged in the goods turnover are required from January 1, 2023 to register in the information system of the Tax Service and use electronic consignment notes. The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Registration in the system is carried out through the «personal account» on the State Tax Service website. The information system is a single portal of the Tax Service, which allows to draw up an electronic consignment note and transfer it in real mode to a counterparty.

«The advantage of the system is its efficiency. This will allow business entities to exchange an electronic document with counterparties in a matter of minutes. Previously, sending original (paper) documents to a counterparty took days or even weeks. Other advantages include a reduction of costs for stationery and postage costs due to the transition to a paperless form of work, as well as the ability to optimize your internal document flow and improve the quality of management,» the Tax Service noted.

Recall, the system is used by taxpayers involved in the turnover of oil and oil products and goods since May 15, 2022, since July 1, 2022 — by taxpayers involved in the turnover of goods included in the list approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The local tax authorities are currently training and advising entrepreneurs on the use of electronic consignment notes.
