Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov met with the UN Resident Coordinator in the Kyrgyz Republic Antje Grawe.
The parties discussed implementation of the framework program for cooperation in the field of sustainable development in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2023-2027, which was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers and the UN this year.
«We are committed to achieving effective implementation of this framework program, taking into account the main priorities of the national development program until 2026 and the sustainable development goals. It is important to pay special attention to such priority areas as human development, climate change, green social and economic development,» Edil Baisalov said.
Antje Grave expressed readiness to continue fruitful cooperation.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening partnership and effective interaction between state bodies and UN bodies in the implementation of existing agreements and work on priority areas of the framework agreement for 2023-2027.
