Two more banks in Kyrgyzstan have suspended servicing of Russian Mir cards. Banks’ websites say.
«From November 1, 2022, Optima Bank OJSC decided to suspend servicing of Mir payment cards. The bank has suspended operations via POS terminals and ATMs in the acquiring network and incoming money transfers from the payment system,» the financial institution said in a statement.
A similar decision was made by Bai-Tushum Bank. Last week, the Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank also suspended servicing of Mir cards.
Tolubai Bank, Eurasian Savings Bank, Kapital Bank, Kyrgyzkommertsbank, Keremet Bank, Ecoislamic Bank and RSK Bank have not so far announced suspension of work with Mir cards.
