Since the beginning of the year, the railways of Kyrgzystan have transported 271,461 passengers, 73,851 of them — in international traffic, 197,610 — in the domestic direction. Press service of Kyrgyz Temir Zholu reported.
After coronavirus restrictions, starting from June 6, international traffic was resumed, in total, 73,851 passengers were transported from June to September by:
- Fast train No. 17/18 Bishkek — Samara — 27,644 people;
- Passenger train No. 305/306 Bishkek — Kazan — 25,674 people;
- Passenger train No. 385/386 Bishkek — Novosibirsk — 20,533 people.
Since the beginning of the year, 197,610 passengers have been transported in intra-republican traffic by:
- Commuter train No. 6050/6051 Bishkek-1 — Tokmak — 55,002 people;
- Commuter train No. 6063/6064 Bishkek-2 — Kaindy — 123,424 people;
At least 19,184 passengers were transported by local train No. 608/609 Bishkek-2 — Rybachye, 917 passengers of them — in modernized car. This train runs during the summer.
