Kyrgyzstanis won gold and bronze medals at the Veteran World Wrestling Championship, which takes place on October 4-9 in Plovdiv (Bulgaria). UWW website reports.
Chynarbek Izabekov (up to 100 kilograms) competed in category D. He defeated Sergei Eliseev from Kazakhstan in the final.
Saadanbek Niyazov (up to 130 kilograms) also won gold in category E. The Kyrgyzstani defeated athletes from Iran, Kazakhstan and the United States.
In the weight category up to 70 kilograms, another athlete from the Kyrgyz Republic, Talant Begaliev (category E), lost to an opponent from the USA in the final and won a silver medal.
Kadyr Keneshov (up to 78 kilograms) won a bronze in category D.
