Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, met with a delegation of deputies of the Czech Parliament. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Akylbek Japarov noted that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries will be celebrated next year. In honor of the date, he proposed to hold a business forum and other events to establish business contacts between entrepreneurs of the two states.
«I am sure that all this will contribute to increasing the volume of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, the potential of which is not being used to the proper extent. Projects in the field of hydropower, tourism, agriculture, and education are of interest for us, as a country with great energy potential and unique nature,» the Prime Minister stressed.
In turn, Jan Bartosek, Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, thanked the Kyrgyz side for the warm welcome and the opportunity to visit places where Czech citizens once lived and worked.
«Our mission is to honor the memory of our compatriots who once lived and worked on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. We visited enterprises created with the assistance of members of Intergelpo cooperative, laid flowers at the house where Alexander Dubcek lived. As for business contacts and holding of a business forum, I support these initiatives,» he concluded.
The parties also discussed in detail issues that will contribute to the progressive development of the Kyrgyz-Czech bilateral relations.
