An interactive map of training courses on digital skills was developed and presented in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
The Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ulanbek Mambetakunov thanked the project partners and said that standard and qualification requirements for teacher ICT competence have been prepared. «Teachers are trained based on ICT competence standards at the Ishenaly Arabaev Kyrgyz State University and the Republican Institute for Advanced Studies,» he said.
DigiKonush project coordinator Banur Abdiyeva said that 60 applications were received for the competition for rural residents on the use of information technologies, 34 of which were approved by a commission of representatives of four ministries and the High Technology Park. After the training, the participants will finalize the projects and present them at the final meeting with the grant committee on September 28. Approximately 11 projects will be financed. The projects include a mobile application for children about the Endangered Species List, developed by a team of ten-year-old girls, remote control of drip irrigation, electronic pasture management and others.
DigiKonush project is implemented by the Center for Civic Initiatives Leader and the Estonian Center for International Development with the financial support of the European Union.
