The procedure of restructuring of the energy sector management system and merging of companies has been completed. The National Energy Holding reported.
It is noted that now it will be possible to save about 1 billion soms. The money will be redirected to the implementation of projects for the construction of new generating facilities, modernization of equipment and repayment of debt obligations.
As a result of the merger of distribution companies with National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, one company was formed to provide services for electricity supply to consumers throughout the country.
Structural divisions — branches of National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan(NENK) in regions will be called:
- Chui Enterprise of Electric Networks;
- Osh Enterprise of Electric Networks;
- Jalal-Abad Enterprise of Electric Networks;
- Talas Enterprise of Electric Networks;
- Issyk-Kul Enterprise of Electric Networks;
- Naryn Enterprise of Electric Networks;
- Batken Enterprise of Electric Networks.
Previously, along with distribution companies in all regions, there were also NENK branches for servicing high-voltage electrical networks. They were merged into one structural unit.
Bishkekteploset JSC was merged with Electric Stations OJSC.
In addition, staff rotation was carried out. It involved almost all general directors of energy distribution companies — 59 chiefs from 57 distribution networks and 6 energy sales companies changed their place of work and will continue their activities in other regions of the republic.
