Greco-Roman wrestler from Kyrgyzstan Zholaman Sharshenbekov, competing in the weight category up to 60 kilograms, won a gold medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Turkey.
In the final, he defeated an athlete from Azerbaijan with a score 10-2.
The Islamic Solidarity Games are held for the fifth time. In 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they were postponed to August 2022.
