Kyrgyzstani Aiperi Medet kyzy won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Turkey.
She competed on August 12 in the weight category up to 76 kilograms.
In the fight for gold, Aiperi Medet kyzy competed with an athlete from Cameroon, whom she defeated in the group stage with a score 10-0. The Kyrgyzstan also won the decisive fight.
The Islamic Solidarity Games are held for the fifth time. In 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they were postponed to August 2022.
