President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov expressed condolences to the head of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in connection with the consequences of the flooding in the country. Press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
«With deep sadness I received the news that heavy rains and flooding have damaged many regions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and led to human casualties. Sharing the pain and bitterness of irreparable loss, on behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and myself, I express my deep condolences to the families and friends of those who died as a result of the natural disaster. I wish the victims a speedy recovery!» the telegram of the head of state says.
According to Russian media, the monsoon-like rains in Iran led to floods. At least 69 people were killed, about 50 more went missing. The death toll is expected to rise as the search and rescue operation continues.
