President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Ambassador, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic Eduard Auer on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country. Press service of the President reported.
According to it, Sadyr Japarov warmly welcomed Eduard Auer and noted that over the past 30 years the European Union has been one of the main reliable partners of Kyrgyzstan.
«In this period of global change, we must work closely together for a bright future peace and the well-being of our peoples, continuing 30 years of achievements and strengthening political dialogue, and work to create conditions for sustainable development,» he said.
Sadyr Japarov paid special attention to the cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the EU in the implementation of joint projects in the field of green economy, digital transformation, education and healthcare, strengthening border and drug security, increasing scholarship quotas for students under scientific and academic exchange programs.
The head of the EU Delegation highly appreciated the achievements of Kyrgyzstan, stressing that good results have been achieved in the country in recent years. Eduard Auer expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic. He noted that Kyrgyzstan, in comparison with other countries, is ahead in terms of the development of democracy, freedom of speech and respect for human rights.
The parties also exchanged views on the expansion of partnership and cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union and the implementation of joint projects with attraction of European investors to the country.
