Monument to Nursultan Nazarbayev demolished in Rukh Ordo complex

Monument to the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, was demolished in Rukh Ordo ethnographic complex.

The personal photographer of the head of Kyrgyzstan, Sultan Dosaliev, published photos from the events within the framework of the 4^th Consultative Meeting of the Leaders of the Central Asian countries. An official reception was organized for the presidents on behalf of Sadyr Japarov. It was held in Rukh Ordo in Cholpon-Ata city.

«A concert program was presented for the distinguished guests. The heads of state watched the performance «The Triumph of Friendship,» the report says.

It can be noticed on one of the photos made in Rukh Ordo that the place, where the monument to Nursultan Nazarbayev was previously erected, is empty.

In 2005, when Askar Akayev was President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the monument to the first President of Kazakhstan was erected in Rukh Ordo complex in Issyk-Kul region on the eve of Nursultan Nazarbayev’s 65^th birthday. The issue of demolition of the monument was raised repeatedly. When and by whom it was demolished is unknown.
