The President of Kyrgyzstan announced an increase in tax and customs revenues and told how the funds are spent at a meeting of the Parliament.
According to Sadyr Japarov, due to close cooperation with deputies, strict control of budget revenues has begun.
«If in the first half of 2021 the Tax Service collected 47 billion soms, then in 2022, 68.8 billion soms were collected over the same period. In 2021, the amount of customs revenues for six months reached 20 billion soms, and this year — 31 billion soms. You can see the difference yourself,» he said.
Sadyr Japarov added that 40 billion soms more was allocated from the republican budget for the social sphere in 2022 compared to last year.
«At least 12.5 billion soms have been allocated to ensure the energy security of the country. For comparison: 3.4 billion soms were allocated for this sector in 2021. We allocate 13 billion soms for the construction of schools, medical institutions and other social facilities. Compared to the previous year, this is twice as much,» the President said.
According to him, in the near future he, as the head of the executive branch, will chair a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and will hear and evaluate the reports of all ministries for the first half of the year.
«We will draw some conclusions,» he said.
