The second round of negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations took place in Belovezhskaya Pushcha on Thursday. BelTA reported.
According to the media outlet, Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, said that they «did not get the results they were counting on.»
It is noted that the parties will continue negotiations in the third round in the near future.
It is reported that Russia and Ukraine agreed on a number of humanitarian issues (delivery of food and medicines), including the possibility of a temporary ceasefire for organization of humanitarian corridors.
Today is the ninth day of fighting in Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, the Russian President Vladimir Putin announced start of a special military operation. It was regarded in Ukraine and in the West as a full-scale invasion.
