About 5,000 people become victims of pyramid scheme in Kyrgyzstan

A woman is suspected of organizing a pyramid scheme in Bishkek. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.

It is specified that the woman was taken to the detention center 1 in Bishkek. About 5,000 people allegedly became victims of the suspect.

«A criminal case was opened on the incident. The Prosecutor General’s Office is investigating the case,» the sources informed.

The press service of the supervisory body confirmed the information. According to it, a criminal case was opened against the woman under the article «Organization of pyramid schemes» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
