Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held a regular meeting of the Operational Headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection.
According to the press service of the government, the current epidemiological situation, as well as the progress of vaccination of the population, were considered at the meeting.
The Ministry of Health notes that there is a decrease in the incidence of coronavirus infection in the country. According to it, no deaths were registered among 1.9 million vaccinated people, there were no serious side effects, less than 1 percent of the vaccinated complained of minor side effects.
«The pandemic is on the decline, a new wave of coronavirus infection predicted at the end of November does not threaten the republic, the incidence rate has decreased. The epidemiological situation during the election period, on the election day will be stable,» Edil Baisalov said.
He drew attention to the low level of vaccination of people with chronic diseases and criticized some workers who do not allow citizens with chronic diseases to get vaccinated.
«All over the world, presence of a chronic disease puts a person at a high risk group that is why they are vaccinated as a matter of priority,» he said.
