Decision on revaccination of the population will be made in early December. The Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev announced on the air of Ala-Too 24 program.
According to him, those people, who have low level of antibodies, will be vaccinated again.
«There will be revaccination, because all vaccines imported into Kyrgyzstan are effective. Those who were vaccinated in the spring can undergo an ELISA test for antibodies: if the cutoff index is three, then a citizen can be revaccinated. There are enough vaccines, about 4 million of them. We will make a decision on revaccination in December. In addition, a decision will be made on vaccination of children from 15 to 18 years old. Those who travel abroad can be vaccinated voluntarily even now,» Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said.
He added that to date, about 44 percent of the population have been vaccinated.
