President Japarov raises Kyrgyz flag at opening of headquarters in Istanbul

President Sadyr Japarov took part in the ceremony of raising the flag of Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of the opening of new headquarters of the Secretariat of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States in Istanbul. Press service of the head of state reported.

The solemn event was attended by the Presidents of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Turkmenistan Gubanguly Berdimuhamedov, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban and CCTS Secretary General Baghdad Amreev.

The heads of state simultaneously raised their national flags and then cut the ribbon near the new headquarters building of the CCTS secretariat.

After joint photographing, the leaders of the countries went to the new building of the headquarters for informal talks.

Sadyr Japarov is on a working visit to Istanbul (Turkey) on November 11-12.
