Some violations were committed when appointing Berdibek Asanov to the post of a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan to the CSTO. The head of the Defense Ministry Baktybek Bekbolotov told at a press conference.
According to him, Asanov has been recalled. Former deputy commander of the Air Defense Forces Emil Tukaev was appointed instead of him.
«Violations were committed during the appointment of Berdibek Asanov. The Ministry of Defense received information that his candidacy was not approved by the Security Council. My decision was based on a document from the Security Council. In addition, when dismissing Asanov from office, his moral and business qualities were also taken into account,» Baktybek Bekbolotov said.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan in the CSTO Berdibek Asanov was relieved of his post. He was send to Moscow in May 2021. He had worked as Deputy Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff for five months. Disagreeing with the decision of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, Berdibek Asanov filed a lawsuit.
