Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held on November 12 in the format of a video conference. Press service of the CIS Executive Committee reported.
The Heads of Government are expected to exchange views on topical issues of economic cooperation in the CIS, discuss topics related to the reclamation of territories affected by uranium mining, and the development of railway transport. In addition, it is planned to make a decision on the chairman of the Committee for Affairs of Warriors — Internationalists under the Council of CIS Heads of Government, to set the date and place of the next meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government.
«It is also planned to sign documents regulating the interaction of the Commonwealth countries in the field of copyright and related rights in information and telecommunication networks, innovative cooperation. It is expected that participants of the meeting will approve a draft action plan for holding the Year of Folk Art and Cultural Heritage in the CIS in 2022,» the statement says.
