The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Usmonali Usmanzoda in the framework of European Union — Central Asia economic forum. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of Kyrgyz-Tajik interaction, special emphasis was placed on the implementation of joint projects to develop the hydropower potential of the two republics,» the statement says.
They noted the importance of strengthening trust between residents of border areas and suppressing any provocative actions.
