It is necessary to open an Embassy or Consulate of the Czech Republic in Bishkek. Deputy Ulukbek Ormonov said today at a meeting of the Parliament.
According to him, in 2018, employers from the Czech Republic came to Kyrgyzstan and reported that they were ready to sign direct labor contracts. But the representative office of the republic is in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan). To get a job in the Czech Republic, Kyrgyzstanis stand in an electronic queue to the Embassy of the Czech Republic, located in the capital of Kazakhstan.
«As practice shows, the queue does not reach the citizens of Kyrgyzstan. I think our government should hold talks on the opening of an Embassy in Bishkek in the near future. The Czech Republic allocated 500,000 workers quotas for 2019. Opening of the Embassy in the capital would significantly increase the chances of Kyrgyzstanis to work in Europe. It is necessary to pay attention to this issue. We have an agreement with South Korea. About 2,000 of our citizens go there to work legally. We need to develop this area, our citizens should legally work in other countries,» the deputy said.
