Governments of Kyrgyzstan and the Czech Republic signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and prevention of tax evasion. Press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The governments of the countries are currently working on bilateral agreements with the countries of the near and far abroad aimed at settling tax relations by securing the right for each state to tax certain types of income and capital.
«The main goal of such relationships is the elimination of double taxation of economic entities in different countries. Agreements on avoidance of double taxation are also considered as a mean of attracting foreign direct investment in the economy of the republic,» the Ministry of Economy stressed.
