Congress of SDPK party, convened by the ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, is held behind closed doors. Journalists were invited only to a briefing of the party leadership.
As the official representative of the political organization Kunduz Zholdubaeva explained to 24.kg news agency, the regulations have not yet been set. Journalists will be able to ask any questions they have. She clarified that the decision to hold the Congress behind closed doors was made at a meeting of the Political Council, since the hall is small and can accommodate only delegates.
About 180 people from all regions of the republic will participate in the work of the congress. Agenda is unknown.
